Privacy & Service FAQ

1. What information does CleverSleep® collect about me?

We collect:

 

  • Basic details you provide (name, contact info, date of birth, country).
  • Sleep and health data you enter (sleep patterns, symptoms, lifestyle factors).
  • Data automatically imported from your connected wearable (sleep stages, duration, heart rate, etc.).
  • Technical data about how you use the app (log-ins, device type).
    We only collect what we need to run and improve the service.

2. Who can see my information?

Your data is visible only to:

 

  • Authorised CleverSleep® health professionals and support staff who help run the service.
  • Other health professionals only if you give us permission to share for your care.
    We may use de-identified data (cannot identify you) for research or public health reporting.

3. Will CleverSleep® replace my doctor?

No. CleverSleep® provides sleep insights and coaching but is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.


You remain responsible for your health and should see a healthcare professional for medical concerns.

4. Can I stop using the service?

Yes. You can withdraw from the service at any time.
If you stop, we will stop processing your data for active service delivery, though we may keep some records if required by law.

5. Will I receive marketing or product offers?

Personalised recommendations — including CleverSleep® products that may support your sleep — are part of the coaching service.
You may also choose to opt in to separate news or promotions about other products; this is optional.

6. How is my data protected?

We use secure servers, encryption, and access controls.
If we store or process data outside your country, we use legal safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (EU/UK) or similar protections to keep it safe.

7. What are my privacy rights?

You can ask to access, correct, delete, or transfer your data.
You can withdraw consent for data use (but this will end the service).
You can also complain to your local privacy regulator if you’re unhappy with how we handle your information.
